Comparison of Womanizer vs. Satisfyer pulse vibrators

pulse vibrators priming test

Comparisons of Womanizer vs Satisfyer clitoral pulse vibrators are usually several years old, where a Womanizer for 200 Euros is compared to an old plastic Satisfyer for 25 Euros. You only learn about features, controls and material. Here we want to tell you how the current pulse vibrators affect your body and how Womanizers and some pulse vibrators are better than Satisfyers and others.

Home - Womanizer, Satisfyer and the others

The Womanizer was the first with pulsed clitoral vibration technology in 2014 and 2015 internationally. The Satisfyer joined shortly after and it wasn't until 2016 that it topped sales. Womanizer sued Satisfyer for copying, but the clitoral pulse technology is so simple that it effectively cannot be legally protected. So Womanizer had to be unsuccessful in its lawsuits notwithstanding that the designs are different. The ideas themselves can't be patented, only the technology beyond current technology, and no pulse vibrator certainly isn't. Quite possibly this was just a marketing "advertising" dispute without the knowledge that it could not be won. Both Womanizer and Satisfyer are originally from Germany. Satisfier, however, is manufactured in China. There is currently peace between Womanizer and Satisfyer. Basically, they are not competing. Womanizer appeals to more affluent customers with a higher quality product and Satisfyer dominates the mass market with price and marketing. We can compare it to a luxury and people's car.

Personally, we are not fans of Womanizer, nor Satisfier, and basically not fans of vibrators in general. So the comparison is not influenced by our emotional preferences. However, both major brands of pulse vibrators Womanizer and Satisfyer have won recognition and their place in the market at Extasica. Although the market for pulse vibrators is saturated, there is a lack of higher quality - tapping pulse vibrators priced under 50 Euros.

Underpressure pulse vibrators

They work on the principle of vibrating the gate in a cup attached to the clitoris. The pressure is not very slight. Practically, it is caused more by the clitoral or nipple tissue being pressed against the cup, forcing the air out of the cup. Not by the action of the device. It is thus a deeper acting vibration rather than a vacuum suction, not only technically but also sensationally.

Tap pulse vibrators (Tap pulse vibrators)

Womanizer

We said in the introduction that an idea using current technology cannot be patented. Thus in Continental Europe, unlike in Britain, a penis water pump would not even get a patent.

The added value of Womenazire lies in many other features besides the interesting idea of long known technologies. Otherwise, it would probably have been relegated to the dustbin of history as, for example, an overpriced waterproof and ergonomically bad Water Pump Bath Mate.

1. The Womanizer's pulses are deeper - like tapping - and come from the sides, unlike the vibrations of the Satisfyer and most of its competitors. It's a bit more intense and leads to faster orgasms. Probably due to the more sophisticated design of the suction cup. The suction cup extends towards the clitoris, unlike the Satisfyer. This is why we introduced the term Tap vibrators.

2. For the extra money, you also get a lot of music with Womanizer. That's not often common in the sex toy world. Womanizers are quieter than the competition. Included with the more expensive Womanizers is an additional replaceable shallower cup to dampen the pulses for those who want less deep (less intense) pulses. The most expensive Womanizers also offer an automatic activation and deactivation sensor when approaching human tissue (or any matter). And they are also quieter than the competition.

3. Womanizers have an ergonomic futuristic design. That's what all Western brands try to do, unlike the Chinese, who can make quality stuff, but they just can't get the design right. Womanizer has a functional design in terms of grip, lightness and functionality.

That the Womanizer, unlike some Satisfyers, doesn't offer Bluetooth phone control is a beauty flaw. You do have to hold the pulse vibrators on your clitoris and you can learn the controls by feel, but it's more comfortable on a mobile phone. Internet control would be appreciated even by a remote partner.

Other tapping pulse vibrators - G vibe, Bee

Most pulse vibrators and perhaps all Asian competition have a classic design like the regular Satisfyer (cylindrical hole and cup) and not like the Womanizers. The Bee pulse vibrator has a cup like regular cheap pulse vibrators, but the pulses are tapping like a Womanizer. The G Vibe Pulser has a cup constructed similarly to the Womanizer. The pulses of the G Vibe are deeper tapping close to the Womanizer. In addition, the G Vibe is the only vibrator we know of that holds itself in the body and can be combined with a partner's penis at the same time. It's made in China and at 70 Euros it's not exactly cheap. But in terms of price-performance ratio it offers enough.

Classic pulse vibrators

Satisfyer

Satisfyer still made most of their models plastic in 2019, while Chinese no name brands have long been all-silicone and cheaper. But Satisfyer bet on marketing and is seen everywhere - at shows, events with porn actors, etc., and also on the frequency of products. That's why not a few Satisfyers are of low quality. While the Womanizer was on top from the start in the second decade of this century, both in functionality and even silicone coating, the Satisfyer has come a long way.

First, around 2019, it became so cheap that it virtually wiped out the remaining Asian competition from the Western market. He improved the packaging and often added a silicone cover. It added mobile phone controls to some vibrators, which Asian brands had for years before the first Blue Tooth Satisfyer. It still lags with design and sometimes with quality, but it has improved significantly. That's why the usual comparison between the Satisfyer and the Womanizer from 2019 has no relevance now.

Satisfyer will offer some of the Womanizer's pleasure for about a quarter of the price. It'll give you a decent ride as a people carrier, but it's far from a luxury sports car. Not only in workmanship and ergonomics, noise level, but especially in stimulation efficiency. The pulses are hollow, more like a vibration than the tapping known in Womanizers. The only Satisfyer that comes close to the stimulation of the Womanizer is the Pro 2 Generation 3 Liquid Air App, if you put on a second cup with a diaphragm. It still doesn't reach the stimulation efficiency of the Womanizer, but it's close at a third of the price. And that's already going to be the clincher for the vast majority of people.

The others

Other brands of pulse vibrators are essentially invisible in Europe thanks to Satisfyer's strong marketing. Dozens of them have appeared in China. That's a bit of a shame, but it's true. No name pulse vibrator brands, whether Chinese or Western, are virtually unsellable in Europe. A small exception with a very small market share is Lelo, which we will add to the comparison later. The Niya 6 Clit pulse vibrator offers the same as Satisfyers in terms of stimulation at a higher price. A better design probably won't save it.

Dual pulse vibrators

Dual pulse vibrators have a curved body. On one end a cup for clitoral pulses, on the other a vibrator for vaginal irritation, especially the G-spot. Unlike the classic pulse vibrators, there are not many of them yet. Apparently Womanizer started this a few years ago. Satisfyer didn't add theirs until 2022, and not a very hilarious one at that. Not the most successful in this segment is the Chinese G-shaped Vibe Pulser vibrator (on the market since 2021) and its sister similar-looking products. And deservedly so. It costs as much as the more expensive Satisfyer, but works close to the efficiency of the Womanizer. Plus, it's the only one that holds itself in the body. The Womanizer Duo Premium is also very solid. You get a lot of music for a lot of money.

Compressor suction stimulators - true vacuum suction

Not to be confused with vacuum pumps. These stimulators have more sophisticated technology than classic pulse vibrators - i.e. not pulse vibrations, but actual compressor suction, where the suction cup on the clitoris or nipple, like a vacuum cleaner, actually sucks in the air that comes out the other side. For simplicity, however, we also incorrectly refer to them as vibrators. The suction is much stronger than the Womanizer, but the frequency of pulses is at most one per second. The suction periods are therefore significantly slower than the pulses. Most women prefer vibrating pulses (i.e. Womanizer, Satisfyer) to actual vacuum. Compressor suction "vibrators" are thus more suited for the more experienced who want to try something different or real suction. Unlike classic pulse vibrators, compressor vibrators are made by quite a few brands. Since 2016, the Chinese Pretty Love and since 2022 Evolved.
