It can appeal to the woman who wants to please with extreme sexy retro style and not be thrown off by just anything. A guy might not like it, but you'll love it. However, it's more likely to go to an environment where you feel comfortable and people understand and appreciate what a specialty you actually have (home party, pool).

The hole at the bottom exposes the pubis and at the vulva (pussy vagina) it connects into a thin cord (see back photo). It is also possible to have sex in the garment, but the cord on the vagina needs to be moved aside like the thong panties.
