It will allow for a very large stretch, but has little wide blades creating more painful pressure than e.g. Collin's mirror or Great Sakurai Speculum.

Instead of this product we recommend the large Sakurai speculum.

Instructions

Great care is required and it should be operated by a second person (not suitable for masturbation). The anal mirror is extended and released by scissors secured in any horizontally extended position (max 75mm) by a tooth and then by a central screw again for a selectable degree of horizontal extension (max 65mm). It is released by loosening the centre bolt and pulling the scissors locking lever (from the toothed surface). As with any expanding mirror great care must be taken when pulling out - do not loosen completely to avoid pinching the mucosa (i.e. pull slightly open). Pull the mirror back slightly when removing the locking lever so that the locking mechanism does not pinch the skin. Extend only as far as the examinee will allow. The maximum bolt is beyond the limit of most people. The second set of blades can be replaced by loosening the two small screws fully recessed in the upper parts of the scissor arms.
